Our Homestead Story

About 23 years ago, I started my adventure with horses! I fell in love with them and wanted to learn as much as I could.

 

Growing up in town, I spent as much time as I could at my friend's family farms. When I graduated, I lived on a horse farm for awhile and then went to Kirkwood Community College and attended their equine program. I bought my own farm and boarded horses, offering horse back riding lessons and trail riding.

 

Then, with life, came children and moves. We became foster parents and that was my world for about ten years - fostering, adopting and watching my children grow. With a full house and dreams of living in the country again, we moved back to farm life.

 

We came back to our roots in Osterdock in 2019 and have been developing our farm into what we want it to be. We are just getting started on this amazing adventure and I am so ready to grow with it!
